Personnel

Meet the Team

We have a dedicated team of experts in machine learning, statistics, epidemiology, genomics, and big data analytics. We are researchers who struggle to find and integrate data ourselves, and we want to help others overcome the challenge of preparing data for analysis.

Grier Page, PhD

Grier Page, PhD

PI

A senior fellow at RTI International. He develops statistical methods for analysis of various types of genomic-related data such as gene expression, metabolomics, and proteomics. These methods have helped improve diagnostics for stillbirth and premature births. In addition, Dr. Page's methods have allowed basic science and clinical studies to be conducted more efficiently and cost effectively. He has developed a number of web-based tools for designing, planning, and interpreting genomic experiments. These include CressExpress.org, a tool for studying plant growth and development, and LungMap.net, a web-based project to understand the structural development of human lungs.

Xiangqin Cui, PhD

Xiangqin Cui, PhD

co-PI

Director of the Atlanta VA Analytics Core and associate professor of biostatistics and bioinformatics at Emory University. She is an experienced biostatistician who has long worked with the VA Electronic Health Records and Vinci system and understands the complexity of using and normalizing these data for complex analysis.

Ricardo Henao, PhD

Ricardo Henao, PhD

co-PI

A Data Scientist at InfiniaML and assistant professor of Electrical Engineering and Biostatistics at Duke University. He is an expert in machine learning with over 50 publications in the area.

Yun Wang, PhD

Yun Wang, PhD

co-PI

A research scientist at Columbia University. She is an expert in multimodal imaging, resting fMRI data analysis, and machine learning.

Eric Earley, PhD

Eric Earley, PhD

PD

A statistical geneticist at RTI International. He is an expert in big data analysis, especially in genetics and epidemiology, and has worked with clients in developing custom built solutions to analyzing massive datasets.
